Useful Kit

It’s a good idea to get into the habit of taking useful resources with you every time you see a person with a cognitive or communication difficulty.

Examples of what to have in your kit bag:

  • Pen and paper
  • Positive/negative scales (thumbs up/down, tick/cross, happy/sad face)
  • Supporting pictures
  • Visual analogue scale – laminated and paper copies
  • Yes/no written choice/cards
  • G-AP access manual and log book including laminated cards for each stage
