Useful Kit
It’s a good idea to get into the habit of taking useful resources with you every time you see a person with a cognitive or communication difficulty.
Examples of what to have in your kit bag:
- Pen and paper
- Positive/negative scales (thumbs up/down, tick/cross, happy/sad face)
- Supporting pictures
- Visual analogue scale – laminated and paper copies
- Yes/no written choice/cards
- G-AP access manual and log book including laminated cards for each stage
